I’m a product designer, husband, and father of three. Our faith is a source of strength as we navigate life’s challenges. Lately, our family has taken on a new adventure: developing five acres of forested land into a family retreat. Much of my free time is spent outdoors, hands-on, building and exploring. I often daydream about floating down fast rivers, chasing Cutthroat Trout, or effortlessly climbing ice-covered mountains. In reality, those adventures remain dreams while I tackle the work of creating something lasting with my own hands.
My love of design began on my grandfather’s farm in Iowa. I would study patched hats, jackets, trucks, and tractors, noticing details in logos like International Harvester and the evolution of John Deere signs. Those early observations shaped my eye for visual storytelling and an appreciation for design that endures.
I carry the values I learned from my family into my work: treating people well, listening carefully, and following through. Some projects call for service. Others require deep analysis. Occasionally, I get the chance to create something entirely new, taking those fleeting sparks of ideas and turning them into something real.
